First of all, this is a clean hotel and the staff was nice. But here was my problem. We get there and had ordered a king room, we got checked in and went to the room and it had not been cleaned. So we went back down and they asked if we would accept two queens? Well I did order king but whatever. Well the manager said just put em in a king suite. Well that seemed nice. We go in and it was not cleaned either. Finally after a third try the front desk lady accompanied us up to another king suite. This one was at least cleaned and ready. So more just frustration.then I go to sit in the office chair by the desk and lean back and almost fall to the ground because it's broke. My biggest complaint is I paid a little more for a nicer hotel and a better experience and feel like I could have just stayed at a super 8 and saved 20-30 dollars.
We had a great experience here. Place was super nice, clean, fresh new carpet, room size was awesome, mattress was very comfortable. Check in/out staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Pool area was clean. If we are back in this area again this will be where we stay.
We've stayed here a few times over the years and always enjoy our stay. The staff is always super nice and friendly, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast is the usual hotel breakfast. If you're staying in Valentine I definitely recommend the Lodge.
Clean, no-frills hotel. Basic hot breakfast served daily. I would stay here again when passing through.
Hotel was decent. The service was excellent as we had a couple issues, such as the light not working in the bathroom, and they cane and fixed it right away and apologized about it. Good location on the outskirts of town.
